Here are transcriptions of all of the extant Belf recordings. The first forty tunes are transcribed from Kurt Bjorling's Resource Recordings. The tunes are listed in the same order as his recordings and use the same titles, alphabet, and spelling as Bjorling (followed sometimes by alternatives).

More information about the intent and scope of the transcriptions is here.

More information about the tune titles is here.

Platch Yevreia (#41) is not availble yet. It is being transcribed from the recording posted on Mark Rubin's 'Belfs Music'.

Yevreiskaya (#42) was transcribed from Oytsres(Treasures): Klezmer Music 1908-1996, Wergo, SM16212.

Who was Belf? How and where were these made? Some answers are here in Roger Reid's recapping of the Sirena Story is here.
